After 20 years as Newsletter Editor Barbara Humm is standing down and we urgently need a volunteer(or two) to step up and take on the role. Barbara will support you initially. We need a regular commitment to produce the newsletter each month. Perhaps you have a friend you could share the role with so that cover would be there for holidays etc. Our u3A is totally run by volunteers and we need new people to step up and take on the roles when they come up. Please come and speak to anyone at the meeting wearing a blue lanyard.

We always need volunteers to propose and run additional interest groups. It's the best way to make new friends. Talk to people wearing blue lanyards at the monthly meeting.

We are looking for a couple of people who would be willing to help with setting up the audio/visual equipment at our monthly meetings. We are now using a new P.A. System which is on wheels so is easy to handle and operate. You would need to be able to come along a bit earlier to a monthly meeting to take the equipment out of the cupboard, set it up and put it back again after the meeting. This would help us to cover holidays or illness and to not just reply on one person. Please speak to Trevor for an informal chat at the meeting.
