The film on 16th September will be Le Weekend (2014). Jim Broadbent and Lindsay Duncan play a married couple in their late 50s who go on a weekend trip to Paris to celebrate their anniversary and rekindle the flame. Things don’t quite go to plan as home truths, broken dreams and financial realities surface, but overall a witty ‘joyful slice of real life with a touch of magic’. 

This film will be shown at Paula's house in Chingford.
