We had a lovely day in Richmond recently when we visited the Poppy Factory, learned how the commemorative poppies are made and had a go at making some ourselves. We enjoyed a display of poppy history and finished up with some lovely tea and cakes. Then it was off to explore the river and and the shopping opportunities of Richmond High street.
