The film on 16th December will be "The L-Shaped Room (1962). The classic British ‘kitchen sink’ drama directed by Bryan Forbes, based on the novel by Lynne Reid Banks. Jane (Lesley Caron), a single young Frenchwoman, finds herself pregnant and rents a room in a run-down house in Notting Hill, full of various oddball characters with whom she gets involved. Stars among others Tony Booth from Till Death Us Do Part and Pat Phoenix from Coronation Street.
This film will be shown at Paula's house in Chingford.
