| Status: | Active, open to new members |
| When: | On Wednesday afternoons 3rd Wednesday of the month |
| Venue: | Member's home |
This is a group which meets once a month to watch a film, and afterwards discuss it over a cup of tea or coffee. The films shown are agreed in advance by members attending, and hosted at present by two of the members in their homes, usually in alternate months. Upcoming showings are listed in the newsletter and also in the events calendar.
Arthur leads the showings, which are open to all members of Waltham Forest u3a, but because numbers in the hosts’ homes are limited, it is necessary to book in advance. So to be sure of a place, please contact Arthur as soon as possible after the first of each month, to avoid the risk of being turned away due to the limit having been reached.
If you have booked a place but then find you can’t attend, please let Arthur know as someone else may be able to take your place.
If you don’t manage to secure a place for a particular film you would like to see, it may be possible for you to borrow the DVD afterwards. Talk to Arthur about this.
Please note that for licensing reasons, screenings are for WFu3a members only.
