Leyton 6th Form College provided us with a wonderful venue for our summer picnic. Tables were set out in the shade of the trees behind the college and we gathered in clusters to talk with friends and share our picnics. We were lucky enough to see some of the aircraft on their way to the King's birthday flypast, and the red arrows drew a cheer from us all. Several games had been brought along so I finally managed to learn how to play Rummikub. A lively game of scrabble was developing on Stephanie's table while Chris was having fun playing skittles. Below are some pictures of us enjoying the sunshine. The first picture is Lesley and the college principal who set everything up so wonderfully for us. It is something we'd like to repeat in the future if possible, so do come and join in next time a picnic is proposed.
